Constructed from CNC machined Ultem, a transparent lightweight yet incredibly robust thermoplastic material, this wallet is exceptionally resilient to daily wear and tear. The DTEX pocket material on the M1 Ultem Wallet provides both resilience and a distinct texture, enhancing grip and resisting wear and water damage. The carbon fiber backplate not only adds a sleek and futuristic aesthetic but also enhances overall structural integrity and RFID protection.

The M1 Maverick™ wallet is a vertical wallet that can hold up to 8-10 cards maximum + cash, making it ideal for the minimal individual. The carbon fiber RFID blocking card cavity can hold up to 6 cards depending on card thicknesses. The front DTEX pocket is held together by black mil-Spec bolts and is designed for easy access to ID cards or up to 4 frequently used cards. The smoked out silicone band is opaque and offers a unique look while allowing a user to hold additional cards, cash and other documents. The M1 Ultem is elegant and sophisticated with an industrial edge which sets it apart from other slim wallet designs. M1 Ultem Wallets are handcrafted & made in the USA.

Understated Coolness

My obsession with Ultem continues with the purchase of the M1 Ultem Wallet from Dango. I can’t say I like many of their designs, but the M1 speaks to me in terms of esthetics, purpose and value.
The Orange Jellybean variety of any seems to be the new black for me. It’s made of a high tech, high tolerance (against heat apparently) material, coupled with great design functionality and a sense of FIKYK…Priced against it’s Titanium cousin, it’s less than half as dear.
Fill it to the max, or use it in a limited capacity, there is no warping, no dampness, no aging. That said, it is more than the usual wallet. It’s vertical orientation is it’s greatest asset- It sits the “right way” up or down in your pockets. And if you need to access your transit or ID card more readily, there are many options to dangle or attach it to those beautifully sculpted handles and lash points on its extremities. I am still feeling my way around this new EDC, but I am sure I will find a favorite set up before too long.
